Cal Poly junior Jake Ritter repeated as winner in the men's 8-kilometer final in 23:43.7 at the Big West Conference Championships at the Ag-Ops Course at UC Riverside. Ritter helped Cal Poly secure a fourth consecutive team title, placing five scorers in the top 13 for a 44-53 victory over Cal State Fullerton. Ritter became the 10th male athlete in conference history to win back-to-back championships, including the fourth from Cal Poly. He became the first to achieve the feat since UC Santa Barbara's Bryan Guijarro in 2014-15.
